Bumblebeeeeeeeeeeeee! X3

My thoughts on Transformers 2, let me tell you them.

Better than my ridiculously low expectations, and my inner fangirl was insanely happy, but this movie seriously needed a different director, rather than one who has no talent except for making huge explosions. Good God.

I do think the pacing was better and I liked the addition of more Autobots and Decepticons (even though 90% of them had no lines whatsoever), but there was still way too much focus on the humans. Come on, this is a Transformers movie! Not a "Those Humans Who Hang Out With Transformers" movie!

5/10 Because my inner fangirl was pleased, otherwise 4/10. We deserve better. :(

"Hey guys, look! I won, I won!"

Also, if I didn't think Deadpool (see my icon) had a major hard-on for Cable, we would be married. Yes.

(And the quote is one of his from Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Heh. And to think I barely knew who this guy was a week ago.)

Yes, these days, all I do is read. Sorry. X

I seriously need a break from life. Ugh. Too much stress, too much everything... I wish I could be like half of the other teens in the world and just have no life whatsoever. Or at least only band. Guard is killing me.

I love Watchmen.

I also love Rorschach to smelly little pieces. I use that wording intentionally. Best comic ever. Epic, epic, epic. So I made myself an icon. Hurr.

I'll do the book list thing later.

Good news and bad news. But more good than bad, I think.

The good news: marching season is over! The bad news: winter guard has started! The good news: we have lots of new people! The bad news: I hate the show we're doing and I'm generally pissed about it! The good news: at least practices are on days I'm not too busy! The bad news: I'm too busy even for that and college apps are due soon, UCSD on the 30th! The good news: I don't need teacher recommendations for UCSD so I don't have to beg the counselors to write one in a week! The bad news: my grades are starting to suck! The good news: I read more books!

...how sad. *cries*

Good things have happened.

One, I got an amazing Metroid wallet with Samus on it at Hot Topic yesterday. Two, I found an amazing Optimus Prime shirt at Sears that was on sale and bought it. Three, I'm going to be playing piccolo in band this year unless someone comes and tries to fuck me over! Woo!

Boo. D: I was hoping we would win since it's my senior year... Oh well. I'll get over it.

In the meantime, I finished The Poisonwood Bible except I wasn't supposed to. XD I couldn't help it! I got to a certain point where it stopped being boring and started being awesome and I couldn't stop myself! Even though I'm supposed to stay with the class... Silly school books! *shakes fist*

I FINALLY FINISHED IT.

For Whom the Bell Tolls = AMAZING LIKE HOLY COW. I watched the movie and then finished the book, and wow. So awesome. Loved it to pieces. I also finished Brisingr which was, of course, not as good, but IIRC wasn't as annoying as the first two books. Maybe the last one will be almost decent?

Ugh.

I finally gave in and got a Facebook. D: AT LEAST I TRIED TO RESIST. I seriously hate the layout of that place though, it's even worse than MySpace...

Aaaaaaanyway. I seriously need to get working on my college applications. And finish my national merit stuff. And my homework. And GAH Ike, this totally didn't work.

And I'm still upset about the Sonata Arctica/Nightwish concert getting canceled!

Awesomesauce!

My house is still standing! :D My room got water in it through the ceiling though... Thanks, Ike. :| I hung out in San Antonio for a week, and got lots of reading done! And none of it was for school! OMG. LONG TIME NO SEE.

Busy, busy, busy. School starts tomorrow bleeeeeeeeeech. And I have to spend an entire day with a certain someone. She wouldn't be so bad if she didn't insist on using me to get whatever she wants all the time... At least I got a lot of reading done over the summer... I need to pick up the pace though! Only 10k pages out of 30k read! I need to check out longer books...

And Jay! Come to the CC vs CB game on September 26. It's our only home game we have around contest time, unless you want to drive to Dickinson or G-Ball. We don't play you until the end of the season and we don't march the whole show at that point. You must see the awesome in its wholeness!
